SURVIVORS - Emmy and Peabody Award Noms

SURVIVORS is out there in the world - making waves and changing minds. The Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone has so much to teach us all, but especially the Global Public Health Community, about the importance of the tone and style of messaging, as well as the utilization of preexisting social networks for communications during a deadly epidemic. This film can and will be used as a case study for our physicians and public health leaders as we prepare for what some are saying is the inevitability of a Global pandemic some time in the near future.

As such, the film is getting a lot of attention and is being recognized with important nominations, such as the Peabody and the Emmy for Outstanding Social Issue Doc.
